Nepal Cloud Professionals organized Global AI Bootcamp 2023 Kathmandu on 4th march 2023 at Herald College Kathmandu targeting AI enthusiasts in Kathmandu. The event was scheduled to start at 1 pm. At 12:30 pm, registration officially began.


The fact that so many attendees arrived at the venue before us shows how excited they were. NCP Volunteers, and members from Herald AI Community worked at the registration desk. I’m so grateful to them. Huge thanks to them.


We had Ms. Prerana Sapkota and Ms. Apekshya Basnet as the main host (emcee) for the event who gave a warm welcome to the participants, resource people, and speakers.
Pradeep Kandel, Microsoft MVP & President of Nepal Cloud Professionals joined us via Microsoft Teams to kick off the event. He spoke about Global AI Community, introduced who Nepal Cloud Professionals are and what we do.
The first session of the day featured Priyanka Paudel, Machine Learning Engineer, she discussed about Demystifying ML Concepts: basic introduction to AI and ML with types and challenges of ML.


Alina Devkota, Machine Learning Engineer ,coac GmbH, Germany discussed at Machine Learning with small data. She explained the real life problems while learning from small data and discussed about few-shot learning.
After a breakout session, another insightful session was delivered by Sushant Gautam, Senior Engineering Manager, where he discussed about Revolutionizing Data Entry With DL : from ink to bits. He discussed about multiple use cases and useful applications for form recognition. He also presented a demo on Azure Form Recognizer Studio.
Rukesh Paudel , Event coordinator gave vote of thanks to all the partners involved namely Microsoft, Microsoft MVPs and venue partner Herald College Kathmandu.
In the end, speakers and venue partner were honored with Microsoft swags.
After the session we had some photo sessions too.
The Global AI bootcamp 2023 Kathmandu was a huge success thanks to the hard work and dedication of the speakers, tech experts, attendees, and all those who made it possible. We were overwhelmed by the response and had to close registration due to limited seats, but were thrilled to have 50+ attendees join us at the venue.
