Our Journey Since 2017
Founded in 2017, Nepal Cloud Professionals began as a small group of IT enthusiasts in Kathmandu with a passion for cloud computing. Over the years, we’ve grown into a thriving community, hosting flagship events like Nepal Cloud Summit, Global Azure Kathmandu, and Microsoft Imagine Cup Ideathons. Key milestones include:
Launched as a community for cloud enthusiasts in Kathmandu.
In 2017, Nepal Cloud Professionals was born out of a shared passion for cloud technology among a small group of IT professionals in Kathmandu.
At the time, cloud computing was still an emerging concept in Nepal, and access to structured learning or community-driven discussions was limited. Recognizing this gap, the founders envisioned a platform where like-minded enthusiasts could come together to learn, share, and grow.
The first meetups were informal gatherings held in Kathmandu, where participants exchanged ideas about Microsoft Azure, virtualization, DevOps practices, and the broader impact of cloud services.
